Here’s some photo’s I’ve just taken of some of the projects I’m either currently working on, planning to work on soon or simply forgot to upload last time I was blogging.
Vladmir of the Khador faction from Warmachine. For more details on Vlad head over to Battle College. I’m pretty happy with the freehand design on the cloak/cape.
Cobra from Hasslefree Miniatures. I think we all know who this is really. I don’t usually do camo, but I wanted to get this model as close to the real Snake Plissken as possible.
I like this new Ogre scheme, and it’s really quick to get a model done. I’m happy with the tin bitz/chainmail on the metal parts of the character, as I was going for a bashed up/scraped metal effect.
Again, a really quick scheme to pull off, which is good because I have hundreds of marine models to paint. Charadon granite and Chainmail (possibly Mithril).
Oh, these paints don’t exist anymore. Yaaaaaay, thanks GW! (/sarcasm). The silver won’t be too hard to replace, but Charadon Granite is such an odd colour. Sometimes it looks grey, sometimes green, sometimes brown!?! I did squirrel away 15 pots before it utterly vanished. I hope it lasts!
New Ork scheme. Featuring a very similar palette to the new ogre scheme.
You should be seeing more of all of these in upcoming posts.
